About Us
In 1994, 18 Dallas-Fort Worth-area community colleges and universities joined forces to enhance career services and job opportunities for students and alumni of their respective institutions. Today, MAC3 members meet monthly to discuss issues and share best practices in career services.

Letter from the President
Welcome to MAC3 — the Metroplex Area Consortium of Career Centers.
MAC3 exists to strengthen collaboration among career centers across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, so we can better serve students, alumni, and employers. Our region is dynamic, growing, and full of opportunity — and career centers are at their strongest when we learn from one another, share best practices, and build meaningful partnerships together.
This year, our focus comes down to three words: Reconnect. Re-engage. Re-energize.
We're expanding professional development opportunities for our members, deepening employer engagement, and creating more consistent ways to share resources, innovations, and outcomes across institutions. We're also committed to inclusive, student-centered practices that ensure every learner has access to career exploration, skill-building, and clear pathways to employment.
Whether you're a new member, a long-time partner, or an employer looking to connect with talent across the Metroplex — we're glad you're here. I invite you to join us at an upcoming meeting or event, explore ways to get involved, and help shape the future of career readiness in our region.
Thank you for your support of MAC3, and for the work you do every day to empower students and strengthen our communities.
With appreciation,
Arthur Lumzy, Jr.
