Arthur Lumzy, Jr., M.Ed.
Executive Director of Student Career Preparedness, ETAMU
Arthur Lumzy, Jr. is a higher education career services leader and Executive Director of Student Career Preparedness at East Texas A&M University.

With 20+ years in student success and workforce development, he advances career readiness through employer partnerships, modern career tech, and scalable engagement models—and currently serves as President of MAC3 (Metroplex Area Consortium of Career Centers).

President-Elect 2026-2027
Amanda Bobo, MBA
Associate Director of Employer Relations, SMU
Amanda Bobo serves as the Associate Director for Employer Relations in the Hegi Family Career Development Center at Southern Methodist University (SMU). In this role, she leverages her strengths in relationship management and strategic planning to expand and enhance employer partnerships and programmatic offerings with the goal of increasing internship and full-time job placements for SMU students. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Business Administration from Mississippi State University, where she also held previous professional roles, in addition to serving at the University of Arkansas before joining SMU in 2017.
Deeply committed to professional development and staff retention, Amanda previously chaired the SMU Division of Student Affairs Professional Excellence Committee. In this capacity, she played a central role in designing a comprehensive performance evaluation tool, a professional development keynote speaker series and an in house professional development conference day to provide ongoing development initiatives across the Division. She was recognized in 2023 for her service to the Division by receiving the Student Affairs Impact Award. Amanda’s service to the university includes participation on numerous institutional and divisional committees, including the Healthy Reopening Task Force during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Faculty/Staff Climate Survey Committee. She is the former President of the SMU Staff Association and currently chairs the SMU Staff Advocacy Council.
Nationally, Amanda contributes to the field through her work with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), where she served on the Access and Opportunity Committee and the LGBTQIA+ & Allies Working Group. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys exploring new recipes with her husband, spending time with their adorable staffy, Zoe, craft breweries, reading, and traveling.

Treasurer 2025-2026
Terrence Hood, BBC
Associate Director, Alumni Career Services and Student Athletes, TCU
Terrence Hood is Associate Director, Career Development at Texas Christian University, where he leads a team of 6 Career Consultants and works directly with student-athletes and alumni. He is a servant-leader with more than 25 years' experience in higher education, including 10 + years as Visiting Professor at DeVry University. He obtained a BBA from Jarvis Christian College and a MS in Human Relations and Business from Amberton University. He is a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), MBTI Certified Practitioner, and recently achieved the Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential through NACE/CCE.
He is passionate about the learning and development of leaders. He serves as a Facilitator for TCU Manger Foundations, a 6 week course for current and aspiring managers to navigate self-awareness, setting expectations, building a peer network and improving performance skills. When he is not working, he enjoys WWE wrestling, volunteering at church, traveling (especially cruises), and enjoying a live jazz event!

Gaby O'Neill, MS
Director of Office of Personal Career Development, UTD
Gaby is the Director of the Office of Personal Career Development at the University of Dallas, her alma mater, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Psychology. With over a decade of experience in career services, she is passionate about helping students turn their interests into meaningful and fulfilling careers. At UD, she has played a key role in developing innovative vocational exploration programs, guiding students toward fields of study that genuinely inspire them while fostering connections that support their long-term success. She has also presented at national conferences on enhancing the student experience through intentional career exploration and real-world engagement. Gaby has been a member of MAC3 since 2014.

Special Board Advisor
James (Jimmy) Renfroe, M.Ed.
Career Advisor, UDallas
Jimmy Renfro serves as Career Advisor for the University of Dallas Office of Personal Career Development. Previously, he spent much of his career at the University of North Texas, primarily at the UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth. A Texas native, he has over 28 years of experience in various facets of higher education leadership and student development. Jimmy’s philosophy of the individual career journey is that it can resemble “playing on the playground, not climbing a ladder!” In addition to his roles in education, he also worked in the corporate world as an oil & gas accountant. He holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and a BBA in Accounting. Jimmy is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Master of Career Services (CMCS). He also holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive & Professional Coaching from the University of Texas at Dallas and is an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC).
