The Metroplex Area Consortium of Career Centers, MAC3, was formed in 1994. The consortium began with eighteen Dallas/Fort Worth area colleges and universities, both community colleges and four-year institutions, with the purpose of enhancing career services and job opportunities for students and alumni of their respective campuses. The consortium has grown from the original eighteen to include thirty-six institutions. The consortium members meet on a regular basis at member campuses. Members discuss issues and problems in career services and share successful strategies.
