Eight ways for companies to support university students right now

For university students, cancel culture has taken on a whole new meaning.
First, they were forced off campuses and relegated to emergency online learning in March.
Now with summer’s arrival, university students and new graduates will feel pain from new sources. Companies and nonprofit organizations have canceled internships, rescinded job offers, and posted fewer jobs for summer and autumn. These actions mean opportunities for industry-linked learning will be further diminished by the pandemic.
No one can know exactly how our economy will navigate the maze of recovery. But recovery, in part, will rely on new professionals and students continuing to build their knowledge and skills. Then they will be ready for whatever comes next.
